Thanks for pointing it out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983110881018172452.post-33684449964522146692013-02-18T18:29:16.594-07:002013-02-18T18:29:16.594-07:00Well... Of course if you can't get the mbed library to start with then yeah that's a problem. Maybe start here? http://code.google.com/p/mbed-lib/
Mike Shimniokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17602015624941667574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983110881018172452.post-28950123515814543482013-02-14T11:01:00.430-07:002013-02-14T11:01:00.430-07:00Actually, I have not found a way to use the mbed C...Actually, I have not found a way to use the mbed Compiler without owning an mbed board. I've bought some LPCXpresso boards and wanted to used mbed libraries on it. It seems to be possible, but lacking the access to the mbed compiler is not really the best start I could have. Thanks,Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983110881018172452.post-10192156200765432452011-05-17T10:21:20.626-06:002011-05-17T10:21:20.626-06:00Thanks, everyone, for the great comments!
@Ted: Y...Thanks, everyone, for the great comments!

@Ted: You could do offline compiling with an ARM toolchain and it is possible to download the various mbed libraries so it may be possible to gain all the advantages of mbed while compiling offline.

@alireza: did not know about CodeVision, that sounds fantastic!Mike Shimniokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17602015624941667574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983110881018172452.post-44597333777294811412011-05-15T23:09:13.873-06:002011-05-15T23:09:13.873-06:00Great article.

I set the arduino IDE to "use external editor" in the preferences menu. I did all my coding in notepad++, saved, and then compiled and uploaded with the arduino IDE. That method works very well with large code.

- Team RoadrunnerRich Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16380414322791807167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983110881018172452.post-91563466329958505982011-05-13T15:48:16.855-06:002011-05-13T15:48:16.855-06:00You are right
